LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS & PARALYMPICS
Working as part of the creative team at Crystal CG , I spent 4 months creating a range of content for the opening ceremonies of both the Olympic and Paralympic Games, London.
The 'audience pixels', a unique display of 70,500 low resolution paddles of LED mounted behind each seat in the stadium was the best kept secret of the event.
An incredible technical and creative challenge woven into the narrative by Artistic Director Danny Boyle, the content transformed and immersed the audience both physically in the stadium and through the televised broadcast.
The Opening Ceremony reached a global audience of 1 billion viewers.
